Pick up by car to the ancient city of Ayutthaya, the second capital city of Thailand during 1350-1767, located 80 kilometers north of Bangkok. The province is a treasure of evocative ruins of once magnificent palaces, temples and fortresses. Visit to Ayutthaya Historical Park, a vast stretch of historical sites, which has been included in the UNESCO list of World Hesitage since December 1991.
Then continue to Bang Pa-In, built in 17th century by King Prasat Thong to serve as a summer retreat for the kings of Ayutthaya. The palace was favorite place of King Mongkut and King Chulalongkorn, who have constructed several buildings with Thai, European and Chinese influences. Then board on a deluxe river cruise back to Bangkok along the Chao Phraya River. International buffet lunch is served on board. Late afternoon, arrive in Bangkok and transfer to the hotel.
