Located in Mitaka, a western suburb of Tokyo, Ghibli museum is an art museum planned by Japan's top animated film director, Hayao Miyazaki. The museum exhibits the history and science of animation. Ghibli Museum (90 mins) The Museum was planned by Japan's top animation director, Hayao Miyazaki, famous for "Spirited Away", "Princess Mononoke" and "My Neighbor Totoro". You can see Totoro's Cat Bus, a process of making animation films and an original short film which can be seen in the museum theater. The building is like a maze. "Let's Lose Our Way, Together" is the concept of the museum.
Free time in Kichijoji Station Transfer to Kichijoji by local bus and short free time on the way back in Kichijoji, the biggest shopping center in West Tokyo. Tour disbands on arrival at Tokyo Station at between 18:00 - 18:30 Individuals return to their hotels or elsewhere on their own.
