Beijing Arrive in Beijing in the early morning. Prior to checking into the hotel, we visit sites of the 2008 Olympic Games such as the Bird’s Nest (outside) and the Water Cube (outside). After resting up, we visit the Summer Palace and a pearl factory.

Beijing After breakfast, we visit the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven. In the evening, we are treated to a famous Peking Duck Welcome Banquet.

Beijing Along the way to the Great Wall, we stop by a jade factory. After exploring the Great Wall, lunch is served. We then return to the city for shopping followed by dinner and a Kung Fu show.

Beijing - Xian The morning is free for leisure or take an optional Hutong Tour before a flight to Xian.

Xian Spend an exciting day as we visit the Terracotta Warriors excavation site. Three pits contain over 7,300 warriors, horses and chariots crafted more than 2,000 years ago in honor of China’s first Emperor Qin Shi Huang. After lunch, continue to the Big Goose Pagoda and the Ancient City Wall. We attend a spectacular Tang Dynasty Show and later indulge ourselves with a Chinese Dumpling Banquet.

Xian - Chongqing - Cruise
Board a flight to Chongqing where we visit the General Joseph Stillwell WWII Museum. We will also visit a Panda Garden before boarding our 5-star Century Diamond Cruiser.

Our first excursion includes Fengdu Ghost City, which contains numerous statues of devils and ghosts. In the evening, enjoy Captain's Welcome Party and Welcome Crew Show.

Today's shore excursion consists of the Lesser Three Gorges: Qutang Gorge, Wu Gorge and Xiling Gorge. Also, take an exciting excursion through Shennong Stream.

Yichang - Suzhou
Shore excursion of the Three Gorges Dam and arrival in Yichang. Later, we take flight to Shanghai and visit the beautiful city of Suzhou.

In Suzhou we visit Tiger Hill, the Linger-in Garden and Silk Factory #1 before returning to Shanghai. An optional Shanghai Harbor cruise or Shanghai Acrobat Show completes the evening.

Shanghai Today we enjoy a ride up the famous Pearl TV Tower in the Pudong section, stroll through Yu Yuan Garden and the surrounding Old Shanghai District. Lunch is followed by a walk along Nanjing Road and the waterfront Bund to view the city skyline.

Terms & Conditions:

Sightseeing: While the sightseeing program is specified in the itinerary, final itinerary may be modified as determined by the tour guides based on local circumstances beyond the control of JTB. Such circumstances include but are not limited to: weather, acts of God, dangers, incidents at sea, fire, break down in machinery or equipment, acts of government or authorities and wars. JTB will make every effort to follow predetermined itinerary as accurately as possible.
•
Unsued Tour Features: Any unused tour feature, either on air transportation or for land arrangements are not refundable or exchangeable.
•
Revisions: One revision is allowed free of charge after your reservation is confirmed, based on availability. A revision fee of $50 per person will be added for any date or itinerary change within 60 days of departure and will be treated as a cancellation and new booking. Regular cancellation fees may apply.
•
Postponement: Tours may be postponed up to 60 days before departure with written notice. Revision fees will apply, insurance amount will be forfeited and visa fees will be deducted if visas have been issued. Your balance will be kept with JTB and will be applied to any departure booked within one year from date of postponement. Balances will be considered forfeited if future travel is not booked within one year of postponement date.
•
Late Booking Fee: Any booking made within 45 days of departure date is considered late booking. The customer must provide final payment within 7 days of the time of booking, plus $150 late fee.
•
Deposit: A deposit of $300 per person is required at time of booking. Reservation will automatically be cancelled if deposit is not received within 7 days after confirmation of reservation. Receipt of deposit confirms your reservation and is applied toward final payment.
•
Final Payment: Final payment for the balance of tour fare is due in our office no later than 60 days prior to departure. If your payment is not received by the due date, the reservation will be subject to cancellation and the deposit will be forfeited.
•
Cancellations: All cancellations will only be accepted upon receipt of written notice. Tour postponements within 60 days of departure or tour cancellations will be assessed as follows per person:

A transaction fee of $150 per person will be charged for any purposes of cancellation.
2.
Cancellation penalties are strictly enforced and are as follows:
60 days or more................$300
59 -45 days.......................25% of total cost
44 - 8 days........................40% of total cost
7 - 3 days..........................50% of total cost
2 Days and Departure Day..........................100% of total cost
3.
The visa fees are non-refundable for any purpose of cancellation if visa has been issued.
4.
Ticket Revision/Cancellation Fee: Once tickets are issued, a $350 per ticket revision/cancellation fee will apply to each ticket plus the cost of express mail charges. This fee is subject to change. We reserve the right issue airline ticket immediately upon receipt of your deposit.
•
Deviation Charge: A $100 charge per person will be assessed for any purpose of deviation from the tours. For a minimal additional fee, we will provide necessary transfers.
