Yangmingshan National Park
Yangmingshan National Park is the closet national park from downtown Taipei for it only takes about 30 minutes to go there by car. Many activities can be found in this area throughout the year. During spring time, tourist cannot wait to see the azaleas and cherry blossom in the Yangming Park . During summer, it becomes the best bird observatory where you can a variety of birds nesting and breeding in this area. Summer is a great time to hike in this area as it provides absolutely astonishing views. This is also one of the best places to see the panorama of Taipei at night time. Fall is the best time to come to see the fumaroles as well as visiting historical building. Winter is a time when people enjoy the hot springs on the mountain. Some baths are free and open to the public.
