Pitou Cape
Among the famous Three Capes of Northen Taiwan. Pitou Cape is considered as the most popular tourist attraction site due to its diversity in geographical formations. The Cape itself only covers about four to five square kilometer in the area; however, its variety in landscape provides a perfect environment for geological studies. At the end of the trail, one should find Pitou Lighthouse, this is a place that offers a spectacular view of the ocean and the land forms. One may also observed the amazing sight where waves from East China Sea battling with waves of the Pacific Ocean.

Nanya Rock Formations 
Nanya is the most northnmost scenic spot in the Northeast Taiwan. It is renowned for diversity of rock formations sculpted by the wind and sea, scattered along the coastline. Nanya is not only famous for its uniqueness in rock formations, but is also prestigious in its richness in coral reef forest under the sea. This is a place where people should take somet time and experience the ingenious nature.

Chiufen Village
The name of Chiufen(Nine portions) came from Qing Dynasty, where the village only had nine families, and thus they would request nine portions every time when shipments arrive to the village from town. Although the village has been prosperous during the Gold Rush; however, it soon become depleted and went through decline for a long period of time. Luckily, its unique geographic locations and nostalgic feelings have attracted many moviemaker to come to this village. Among the movie that was produce in Chiufen, the two most famous movie belings to "A City of Sadness" ( 1989 Golden Lion Award in Venice Film Festival and "Spirited Away" (Oscar award for Best Animated Feature), which Chiufen was used as model in the story. Its image as an old hillside town long, steep and narrow alleys, winding stone steps, teahouse and restaurant will definitely bring you to another different kind of world.
 

Chinkuashih Village
On your way to Eastern of Taiwan along the coastline, Chinkuashih is one of a most memorable place where one should visit. It is located in the Rueifang distict in the Taipei County. Similar top Chiufen, this place has also reached to its peak during the Gold Rush, and has suffered from downfall the the mine depleted. Not many people, even the locals, have recognized its beauty until recent years when tourist in Chiufen has started to pay attention to this neighboring city. In addition to its exceptionally beauty as a city lies between the mountain and the coastline. Chinkuashih also resides many important historical relics from the mining days. It is a place worth seeing.

Bay of Two Colors
This place is also called "Ying-Yang Sea" by the local people. It is characterized by a mixture of yellowish and blue colors in the sea. For many years the local people, and anyone who passed by this area has believed that the sea color was a result of pollution from a metal-mining company. However, scholar recently discovered the fact that the soil in Chinkuashih contains a huge amount of minerals which cannot dissolve easily in the water, and therefore results in adding a weird sight to this area.
