Taipei/Lukang/Sun Moon Lake Picked up by English speaking driving guide and proceed to Sun Moon Lake. Photo stop at Sanyi, woodcarving village on the way to Lukang. Once arrived at Lukang, visit Market and Old streets (or Ding Historic Mansion). At 14:30, continue to Sun Moon Lake, driving along the lake and visit Wen Wu Temple with beautiful lake view. Sun Moon Lake/Tainan/Foguangshan After breakfast, drive south for Tainan to visit Chikan Tower and Confucius Temple. Then, proceed to Foguangshan Monastery, the biggest Buddhist Monastery in Taiwan. Upon arrival, visit Great Buddha Land, Buddhist Culture Museum and Main Shrine in the monastery. Accommodations at the Pilgrim's Lodge in Foguangshan Monastery.

Foguangshan/Meinong/Chihpen You can choose to wake up early this morning to join the monastery's chanting at around 5:30 A.M. Then, proceed to Meinong, a traditional hakka village, to visit its famous hand-made oiled-paper umbrella work shop and Meinong ceramics kiln. Then, proceed to Chihpen city in Taitung. After check-in the hotel, you can enjoy the natural hot spring for the remainder of the day. (For those who stay at Toyugi Hot Spring Resort & Spa, it is recommended to have buffet dinner with aboriginal show at Royal Chihpen Hotel on their own.) Accommodations at the Hotel in Taitung.

Chihpen/Hualien In the morning, we will drive north along the east coast to visit Siaoyeliou, Dulan (art center and cafe with pacific view), Tunghe Bridge (you may see wild monkeys here), and Sansientai. Later, we will drive to East Rift Valley national Scenic Area and enjoy the green farm fields stretching to the mountains view. After that we will be heading to Hualien County to check in hotel. Rest of day free at leisure. Accommodations at the Hotel in Hualien.

Hualien/Taroko/Taipei In the morning, we will go to Taroko National Park for one of the most amazing scenic view of gorge in Taiwan, we will visit Tunnel of Nine Turns, Swallow Grotto, Eternal Spring Shrine Taroko Gorge Gateway and marble factory. Later, we will go back to Taipei via Su-Hua highway and stop at the Chingshui Cliffs. Visit handicraft center or souvenir shop. The tour will be disband upon arrival to the hotel in Taipei.
