Upon arrival, meet and Zhengzhou Airport (or train station). Transfer to Kaifeng to visit Iron Pagoda and Dragon Pavilion. Deluxe lunch at local restaurant.
The Dragon Pavilion is located in Kaifeng in eastern Henan province, People's Republic of China, where there was an ancient ruin of the imperial palace of Song Dynasty and Jin Dynasty. The Dragon Pavilion was built on the top of 72 steps which are 13 meters. In the middle of the steps, there is a Longqing stone that was sculptured many dragons. In the middle of the palace, there is a big chair with a dragon which was used by messenger to announce the emperor's script. In ancient times, the pavilion was used by the king for meetings. Its constructions the respect to the king and the atmosphere.

Morning transfer to Gongyi and visit Grottoes in Gongyi Country, Millionaire Kang's mansion. Lunch at cave. Afternoon visit Shaolin Temple.
Shaolin Temple is probably the most famous temple in China, not only because of its long history and its role in Chinese Buddhism, but also because of its martial arts or Chan Buddhism. Shaolin does have a long tradition of Chinese martial arts, as the saying goes 'All martial arts (gongfu) are from Shaolin'.

Morning half day tour to Longmen Grottoes. Deluxe lunch at local restaurant in Luoyang.
Longmen Grottoes are located on the southern outskirts of Luoyang, situated on both banks of the Yi River about 13 kilometers from the downtown. The grottoes were built in the year 494 during the Northern Wei Dynasty. Longmen Grottoes, Yungang Caves and Mogao Caves are regarded as the three most famous treasure houses of stone inscriptions in China.
In the afternoon, take flight (or train) from Luoyang to onward city. |
