Depart Chiang Mai for Lampang. Before arriving at Lampang, stop is made at the Thai Elephant Conservation Center, which is about 30 kms. before reaching Lampang. After the presentation of the shows and observe how these elephants are trained, the trip shall move on the city of Lampang. Tourists shall be offered as opportunity to ride the horse drawn carriage for half an hour.

Lunch in a local restaurant. Continue the trip to Wat Prathat Lampang Luang, built around the 11th centary. Then, visit local homemade ceremics village, which is near by. Return to Chiang Mai. If time permits, you will visit the Wat Prathat Haripoonchai, the important temple of Lampoon.
