Temple of Heaven This was the place where the Ming & Qing emperors went to worship Heaven and pray for better Harvest. In early morning when the air is filled with the fragrance of old cypresses, the temple grounds are full of people practicing a dozen or more forms of exercise, from Taiji, from opera singing to disco. It is one of the best places in Beijing to observe ordinary Chinese at play.
Summer Palace Tour first visit Summer Palace - one of the best sights in Beijing. It is an immense park containing some newish Qing architecture. The site had long been a royal garden and was considerably enlarged and embellished by Emperor Qianlong in the 18th Century. He deepened and expanded Kunming Lake with the help of 100,000 labourers.

Tian'anmen Square The square, located in the heart of modern Beijing, covers 44 hectares Reputed as the largest square in the world, it can hold 500,000 people. The founding ceremony of the People’s Republic of China was held here on October 1, 1949, which climaxed with 1 million people gathering to hear the late Chairman Mao Zedong proclaim the birth of New China.
Forbidden City The Forbidden City, also known as The Imperial Palace, is a maze of palaces built between 1417 and 1420 as the residence of the emperor. It has 9,000 halls and rooms, containing many precious relics. It is the largest palace in the world and one of the mankind’s major cultural legacies..
