Potala Palace
Potala Palace, This immense 13-storeyed building used to be the highest construction until the end of the last century, has always been the heavenly shrines for all prostate pilgrims. It incredibly with 1,000 rooms and 200,000 Buddha images and treasures was the former abode of Dalai Lamas. It is as magnificent as the nation’s supreme relics, all being able to date back to 7th century A.D.

Jokhang Temple / Bhakor Street
Morning visit the golden-roofed Jokhank (Dazao) Monastery -Tibet’s holiest shrine. It commemorates the marriage of Tang princess Wencheng to King Songtsen Gampo 1,300 years ago, and houses a pure gold statue of the Buddha Sakyamuni brought to Tibet by the princess. It is the pilgrim must circuit temple. Outside of the Jokhang Temple is Barkhor Street, one of the most important religious paths.
