Baggage
Round Trip Plan Your baggage will be transported from Hakone to Kyoto on Day 2 and from Tokyo to Kyoto on Day 5. Each person will be allowed one piece of baggage. Transportation of baggage (baggage assistance) from Kyoto to Tokyo is a free service only for guests staying in hotels listed in the hotel list. Day 1 : TOKYO - Mt. FUJI-HAKONE
At 8:45 a.m., leave from the Keio Plaza Hotel aboard a deluxe motorcoach to Mt. Fuji. At Fuji Visitor Center, nature, culture, and artwork concerning Mt. Fuji are on display at the information center. Drive halfway up Mt. Fuji to the 5th Station (altitude 2,305 m.), enjoying the natural scenery en route. Enjoy a Japanese-style lunch at a local restaurant. Ride an aerial cableway up and down Mt. Komagatake for a sweeping view of celebrated Hakone National Park.
Then, we will visit Owakudani Valley, explore this volcanic valley, famous for its scenic views and "kuro-tamago," Hakone's local hot spring boiled black egg specialty. Eating one egg supposedly adds time to your life. At cruise on Lake Ashi, we take a delightful cruise on Lake Ashi aboard a large sightseeing boat. Let the crisp air refresh you while you enjoy the surrounding natural beauty. Enjoy a stay in a Western-style room at the Hakone Hotel Kowakien.
Day 2 : Hakone - Nagoya
Around 8:00 - 9:00 a.m., check out from hotel. Leave your hotel via motorcoach to Odawara Station. At 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. we will leave Odawara Station via Kodama Bullet Train for Nagoya Station. Enjoy a buffet-style lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, explore the restored Nagoya Castle, famous for the two "shachihoko," or mythical carp-dragon creatures that adorn its roof. Then, we will visit Toyota Museum, this museum features easy-to-understand exhibits that depict automobile history, automobile mechanics and actual equipment. Enjoy a stay in a Western-style room at the Nagoya Marriot Associa Hotel.
Day 3 : NAGOYA - MAGOME/TSUMAGO
At 8:00 - 8:45 a.m., we will walk from the hotel to Nagoya Station and take the Limited Express Shinano to Magome-juku. Enjoy a Japanese-style lunch at a local restaurant. When we arrive Chopstick Workshop, we will make your own chopsticks at Kisoji-kan.
We are going to walk through Magome and Tsumago, two lodging towns which prospered on the Nakasendo highway connecting Kyoto and Tokyo during the 16th century. Enjoy a stay in a Japanese-style room and a Japanese-style dinner at Hotel Kisoji.
Day 4 : MAGOME/TSUMAGO - KYOTO
At 8:00 - 8:45 a.m.,We will leave your hotel for Nakatsugawa Station and take the Limited Express Shinano to Nagoya Station, where you will transfer to a Shinkansen to Kyoto Station. At lunch time, enjoy a buffet-style lunch at a local restaurant.Heian Jingu Shrine, built in 1895, the Heian Jingu Shrine is known for its 5/8th size replicas of the Imperial Palace of the Heian Capital.
Sanjusangendo is a recreation of the Rengeoin Temple, this temple is known for its 1001 statues, each with a different face. Kiyomizudera Temple is one of Japan's most famous Buddhist temples, this World Heritage site offers a beautiful panoramic view of Kyoto. At the evening, enjoy a stay in a Western-style room at the Karusama Kyoto Hotel.

Day 5 : KYOTO - TOKYO
Free at leisure until departure.Around 5:00 - 5:50 p.m, take a motorcoach from your hotel to Kyoto Station, where you will ride a Shinkansen back to Tokyo Station. Around 9:00 - 10:00 p.m. you will arrive in Tokyo. Tour drop-off service to a selected number of hotels in Tokyo is available.
Remarks

Stay at Gion Yoshi-ima includes two breakfasts, four lunches, and two dinners.
•
This tour is offered to travelers from overseas only.
•
Please dress casually and wear shoes comfortable for walking on Day 3.
•
The departure station on Day 4 may be changed from Nakatsugawa Station to Nagiso Station. Transportation to the station may be by taxi instead of bus.
•
If the Toyota Commemorative Museum is closed, you will visit the Tokugawa Art Museum, Koshoji Temple, Noritake no Mori, or Atsuta Jingu Shrine instead.
•
A vegetarian menu is available. Please request when booking.
•
The bus between Tsumago and Magome is not operated during the winter, so a taxi or small bus will be used instead.
•
On Day 4, some portions of the Limited Express to Nagoya Station may be changed to local trains.
<for Day 1: Mt. Fuji-Hakone Tour>

Multilingual audio guiding devices recorded in Korean, Chinese, German and Spanish will be provided free of charge on these tours. Please make requests in advance to receive this special free service.
•
When Fuji Visitor Center is closed, or if the tour is behind the schedule due to traffic jam, Fuji Visitor Center may be skipped.
•
When the driveway up to Mt. Fuji's 5th station is closed in winter due to heavy snow, or if the tour is behind schedule due to traffic jam, you will go up to the highest possible point.
•
Komagatake Ropeway or Cruise on Lake Ashi may also be omitted or substituted depending on traffic, weather conditions, or for other operational reasons. In this case, you will enjoy one in case of either of them omitted or two for both of them omitted out of following althernatives; Narukawa Museum in Hakone, Hakone Check Point, Cruise on Lake Kawaguchi, Lake Kawaguchi Ropeway, Hakone-en Aquarium, Hakone shrine and Owaku-dani. Your tour guide will finalize alternative places, based on careful study of tour movement and other conditions.
•
We recommend you to bring an overcoat or other warm clothing during autumn and winter.
•
For people proceeding to Kyoto after this tour, please note that your arrival time is usually around 21:30 but sometimes will be around 22:00-23:00 due to traffic conditions.
•
Even if you go up to 5th station of Mt. Fuji, it so happens that you cannot see the full view of Mt. Fuji due to the weather conditions. We shall never make any refund and also never cancel the tour operation for this reason.
•
There is a possibility that your tour guide not accompany you on the tour bus or the Shinkansen back to Tokyo after Odawara station for operational reasons. In this case, your guide will provide information on how to go back your hotel from Tokyo station (Return by Shinkansen), or from Shinjuku / Ginza (By motorcoach Throughout).

During the Gion Festival (July 14-16), drop off service to Karasuma Kyoto Hotel is unavailable due to traffic regulations.

During the Jidai Festival on October 22, Heian Shrine is closed to the public and will be replaced by Chishaku-in Temple.
