Pick up from Taipei / One-day Taroko (Marble) Gorge Tour After breakfast, we will transfer from domestic airport to Hualien. We will take a bus tour for a whole day visit to Taroko National Park. Taroko Gorge is an Exceptionally beautiful, narrow raving created by the Liwu river which has cut deep into the mountains of solid marble. A road carved into sheer walls of rock rewinding its way past forested peaks and cliffs towering thousands of feet above it, while hundreds of feet below a river roars past gigantic marble boulders. Stops will be made at Eternal Spring Shrine, Swallow Grotto, Tunnel of Nine Turns, Marble Bridge, Tienshiang, marble factory, Chi Hsing Beach and Hualien Stone Sculptural Park. Enbus for Nantou, we will visit Puli, a small town at the geographical heart of the island. The people of Nantou county in central Taiwan are proud of the natural beauty of Puli. The town is famous for its “ four Ws” : weather, water, women, and wine. Highlights around Sun Moon Lake include: Wen Wu Temple, Tehua Village, Tse-En Pagoda, and Holy Monk Shrine. Sun Moon Lake is the most famous lake attraction in Taiwan. With over 100 square kilometers, the lake got its name because the northern part of it has the shape of the sun and the southern part of it has the shape of crescent moon (those two parts are separated by Guang-Hua Island). Alishan National Scenic Area / Chiayi Leave Sun Moon Lake in the morning, Enbus for Alishan via New Central Cross Island Highway and Yushan National Park / Alishan National Scenic Area / Forest Tour – a walking tour through forest to visit Sisters Ponds, Shou-Chen Temple, and the fallen giant Sacred Tree / Enbus for Chiayi / Chiayi City. Mount Ali is the top one natural scenic spots in Taiwan. Mt. Ali is also a world-famous scenic area renowned for the three wonders of forests, cloud seas and sakura flowers. Legend has it that over 250 years ago, a Tsou tribe chief named Ali came here on a hunting trip and returned with his hands full of game animals.
